Smories

Smories is a wonderful child friendly website where original stories are read by children for children.

The fluffs and mispronunciations are kept in which makes it quite charming.

I've got two stories on there:

The Bear with no Hair

The Freckle Fairy (in which Emay is pronounced Emmy)

If you have young children you can leave your email address and they will email a link to their daily smory.

Or just browse through the smories.

A fun pre-bedtime experience if you have young children.

The Rehearsal - a short film

I have just rediscovered a short film I wrote and directed a year or so BC (before children).

It features Arthur Bostrom as a successful sitcom actor rehearsing a stage play and trying to 'find' his character through improvisation with the director, played by Howard Nightingall.

Meet The Freckle Fairy

James has written a couple of stories which are included in the book below.

Louise and Emay Meet the Freckle Fairy is illustrated with photos of the girls themselves who are joined by a delightful fairy creation from Tamara Church and aided by some very creative design work by Jeff Ball.

The book also features a second story text - Louise and Emay Meet Scary Mary the Bad Hair Fairy. Find out where bed head comes from!

The softcover version of the book is available from the link below at cost.

Tessa's 70th Birthday Weekend

Yes, it does take a whole weekend to celebrate a 70th birthday. That, plus a pink stretch limo full of screaming grandchildren.

Below is a book Sarah has made from the photos taken over the weekend. Click to view the book. There is also an option to purchase at cost.
